Dept of Cell Biology featured in WebsEdge/Education video
Wednesday, December 12, 2012
The Department of Cell Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine employs an interdisciplinary approach to address basic questions in cell biology from the roles of single molecules to complex multicomponent cellular mechanisms. The research in the department involves the translation of these fundamental cell functions to understanding disease mechanisms which will one day lead to the development of therapeutics. Its methodological strengths are its outstanding facilities and expertise in optical imaging, mass-spectrometry and proteomics. Click here to watch video on YouTube
